The Duke's Country Song

A 23-hour song about mayo. Yes, you read that correctly.

It's a Song About Duke's Country

In late 2024, we launched a brand platform called "Welcome to Duke’s Country" welcoming newcomers to a growing family of brand-loyal fanatics. Our TV spot was a bit of a fever dream, and, when we were asked to make a 30-second spot, we felt that there was a lot more to say (or sing) about Duke’s Country. 22 hours, 59 minutes, and 30 seconds more, to be exact.

So, Why 23 Hours?

At the conclusion of the aforementioned TV spot, the two are riding off into the sunset in a Geo Tracker, which we always thought was the start of a road trip through Duke’s Country. So, the question became, “What would they listen to?” I’ll tell ya. If you were to roughly measure the market, it would stretch from Austin, Texas, to Washington D.C. Now, if you were to drive that distance, it would take you about 23 hours. And now you see what happened.

Real Mayonnaise. Real Music.

Duke’s Mayo uses no artificial colors or flavors, so we used no artificial intelligence to write this song. It sounds crazy, but maybe not as crazy as the love some people have for Duke’s Mayo. Working with our good friends at Cleod9 and singer/songwriter, Jack Gregori, we made a fully original composition with nearly 1000 verses, shoutouts to some 15,000 cities and towns, recipes, coupons, jam sessions, dozens of instruments (including kazoos), literally thousands of hours, and probably a lot of other random stats.

Plans for the Next 23 Hours?

We needed to put the song out in the world, but you can’t just upload a 23-hour track to Spotify (unfortunately). So, we uploaded three whole albums with 23 hour-long tracks. And in a single upload, Duke’s may have many minutes of playable content as the Rolling Stones. Additionally, we had a batch of 30-second spots hit the radio waves, which you can listen to below.

"Yellow" :30

"Flavor" :30

"Twang" :30

So clear your calendar, fire up Spotify and you can sing alonnnnnnnngggggg.
